Derek has been with Doug Smith Subaru since 2006. He started in sales, quickly moved into management, and is now our General Manager. He is very detail-oriented and knowledgeable about Subaru vehicles. As a Sales Consultant, he was Peak Performer, a high achievement Subaru awarded. Derek has five children that keep him and his wife very busy. When he isn't working, you'll likely find him spending time with his family and/or enjoying time in the mountains, a hobby that he enjoys and shares with his family at every opportunity.
Rich has been with Doug Smith since 1985. He is an avid car fan, which includes not only knowing how they work inside and out, but how to improve them. If he is not spending time with his wife and 3 kids, he is regularly found under the hood rebuilding them or on the track behind the wheel. He has also been know to run and mountain bike if he gets the chance. He does an outstanding job running our Subaru store and loves to help with what ever you might need.
Dempsey grew up in the Dayton, Ohio area; he moved to Utah in the fall of 1992 and now lives in Lehi. Even from a young age, he has always been obsessed with cars; sometimes this passion manifests itself in strange ways. For example, he spent six years competitively racing a highly modified, turbocharged Dodge Caravan. Having moved on from drag racing, his current car hobby is Jeeping. He has taken his Wrangler on the Rubicon Trail, he makes regular visits to Moab, and also enjoys a variety of trails closer to home. Dempsey served an LDS mission in Rome, Italy. Dempsey has been selling cars at the Doug Smith Autoplex since 1998, and he loves the opportunity this gives him to share his enthusiasm about cars.
Craig has a loyal Subaru customer following. He is also one of the nicest guy you will ever meet.
One of Dale's passions is the enjoyment that he gets from riding 4-Wheelers. A great customer experience to him means that he has exceeded all the expectations of a customer. He wants to be able to remember your name and greet you enthusiastically, in a way that only Dale can do.
Dan loves the outdoors. He feels like a great customer experience is the result of him treating the customer the way he himself would want to be treated...The Golden Rule. He wants to be able to make customers feel comfortable, building a relationship, and earning their trust.
