Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and X-MODE with Hill Descent Control come on the $26,995 Base as well as the Wilderness.

That rises to 9.3 inches on the Wilderness, which also gets all-terrain tires and a 3,500-pound tow rating.
One engine, 180 hp
The 2.5-liter boxer four makes 180 hp and 178 lb-ft in every gas trim, paired with a CVT that has an 8-speed manual mode.
EyeSight as standard
Adaptive cruise with lane centering, pre-collision braking and lane departure warning are on the Base and up.
What changed for 2027.
The 2027 Crosstrek keeps the design introduced for 2024 and the 180-hp engine every gas trim gained for 2026. Starting prices for all four trims are unchanged from last year.
Lineup
Four gas trims. The gas-only Sport is gone. The Sport name now belongs to the Crosstrek Hybrid, leaving Base, Premium, Limited and Wilderness.
Color
Tidepool Teal Pearl. A new premium paint replaces Alpine Green, and Daybreak Blue Pearl joins the Crosstrek's color list.
Audio
Harman Kardon on the Limited. A $1,795 package now brings the 10-speaker Harman Kardon system and a power moonroof to the Limited.
Exterior. Cladding, roof rails and steering-responsive headlights.
Black cladding wraps the wheel arches and lower doors on every Crosstrek, and the Base and Premium ride on 17-inch alloys with all-season tires.
The Wilderness adds its own bumpers, anodized copper accents, a matte black hood decal, front underbody protection and 17-inch matte black wheels with Yokohama GEOLANDAR all-terrain tires.

Performance. Boxer engine, all-wheel drive and X-MODE.
Power goes through a CVT with an 8-speed manual mode and paddle shifters to Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which also uses brake-based Active Torque Vectoring in corners.
X-MODE and Hill Descent Control are standard. The Wilderness steps up with a 4.111 final drive, a transmission fluid cooler, 9.3 inches of clearance and steeper approach and departure angles (20.0 and 33.0 degrees).

The Base uses dual 7-inch screens with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Premium, Limited and Wilderness switch to Subaru's 11.6-inch Multimedia Plus touchscreen and six speakers.
Seats are cloth on the Base and Premium, leather-trimmed with orange stitching on the Limited, and water-repellent StarTex with copper stitching on the Wilderness. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard throughout.
