The Onyx Edition XT, Limited XT, and Wilderness models come standard with a turbocharged BOXER® engine with up to 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Every Outback also has a Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive to provide excellent traction throughout Provo. When properly equipped, the Outback can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Safety

Each new Outback comes standard with the EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology package, which features safety aids like Pre-Collision Brakes, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic Steering. You also get features such as Blind-Spot Detection and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert to warn you about other vehicles around you. The Outback is built around a high-strength steel frame and has eight airbags that provide added peace of mind.

Technology

The Outback has an 11.6-inch touchscreen and wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ to help you stay connected. You can quickly get directions, play music, use your favorite apps, and access other features. The available Harman Kardon premium audio system provides a 12-speaker sound system and a subwoofer with Clari-Fi technology for a more immersive listening experience.

Interior

You have space for five, and the Outback offers an available 12-way power front seat along with options for Nappa leather seats. For added comfort, you can get heated and ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. When you need additional cargo space, the rear seats can fold down, and the hands-free power rear gate makes loading and unloading cargo easier.

Exterior

The Outback offers up to 9.5 inches of ground clearance, and standard raised roof rails to help you secure cargo. It can be equipped with up to 18-inch wheels, and some models offer off-road tires for added traction. LED headlights and fog lights come standard, providing excellent illumination on Orem night drives.

Outback Wilderness

The Outback Wilderness is a unique trim level equipped with many off-road-focused features. It has a turbocharged Subaru BOXER® engine with a redesigned transmission to help with low-speed climbing. It also has up to 9.5 inches of ground clearance and a standard front skid plate to protect the underside. You also get a blacked-out exterior design with an updated front bumper and grille with copper finish accents to set it apart from other Outback models. Other highlights of the Outback Wilderness include reinforced roof rails that can support a roof tent and an anti-glare hood. Inside, you get Wilderness branded StarTex® seating that's easy to clean.
